Steeping It Right

  • Boil 100 ml water in a pan

    Use fresh water and bring it to a full boil

  • Add 2.5 gm (1 tsp) chai

    Boil for 2 minutes to bring out the colour and spice. Add a little more chai for a stronger cup

  • Add 100 ml milk and sugar

    Bring to a boil again, then simmer for 2-3 minutes. Simmer longer for a kadak cup

  • Strain and serve hot

    Makes one cup. Adjust the milk and sugar to your taste

I had the wrost experience with there masala chai …

As it’s monsoon in india a hot cup of tea was alluring and that thought made me consume this udya masala chai every evening for over a week and slowly my mouth started to feel more dry and within 2 days i developed worst mouth ulcers . I never had ulcers in my life and their tea made me have them and i am struggling badly with moth ulcers i can’t eat or drink anything. I strongly believe their products aren’t authentic and may contain some compounds which might cause erosion of the protective layer of your mouth.
