Description

This speciality tea from Nilgiri Hills is grown on 45 acre prime, certified organic, clonal area at an elevation of 6500 ft. This tea is produced from the highest quality leaves plucked from specially cultivated areas of the estate. The manufacturing of this tea is done using a mild oxidation process, imparting a nice malty tea flavour.

TASTING NOTES

Brisk, malty cup with a slightly astringent aftertaste

STEEPING INSTRUCTIONS

  • Put 2.5 gm leaves in an empty cup
  • Pour 200 ml water at 90-95 ºC
  • Let it steep for 5 minutes
  • Strain and serve

A very good black tea
This black tea from Nilgiris (Ooty and nearby areas) is a good black tea. I like to drink it plain. The tea leaves from Udyan are very fresh and I am sure you are gonna love this tea.
